Why wear a brown Scapular?

4- When you are enrolled in the Brown Scapular you not only enter, but share in every grace & spiritual benefit of the entire Carmelite Order.
5- "Whoever dies waring this Scapular shall not suffer eternal fire".
6- "I the Mother of grace, shall descend on the Saturday after their death & whomsoever I shall find in Purgatory I shall free so that I may lead them to the Holy Mountain of life everlasting".
7- THE ROSARY AND THE SCAPULAR ARE INSEPARABLE.

To be eligible for the promises of the Scapular, one must be enrolled in the Brown Scapular Confraternity. This is a simple ceremony which can normally be performed by any Priest.

Where and when can i get enrolled?
@ Marie Reine de la Paix | Port Louis - On the 1st Saturday of each month, after the 8:30am Mass
Curepipe | St. Joseph - July 16 each year - On the feast day Of Our Lady of Mont Carmel after 10am Mass.

For those wanting to be enrolled. A Scapular will be layed over your shoulders right after Mass.
